It reminded me of the fear that many people who desire to enter graphic design have.
They are so afraid of the software that they limit themselves.
Fearing Photoshop or Flash isn't the solution. Take a hold of the resources on the internet that are
available to you and you will soon find that you will be just fine.
Take myself for instance, I was introduced to Quark Xpress through a mentorship program in High School. Since, I haven't really used it much. Now I find myself delving into it again, and it is TERRIFYING! But I've managed to re familiarize myself with the features, and little by little it's coming back to me.
So for all you internet and tech fraidy cats, don't despair! take a hold of the resources available to you right in your own neighborhood...It's as easy as Googling "free computer training in (your city name here)"
